“Every family deserves clear answers, honest explanations, and a compassionate guide through the details that matter most.”

I’m Jacquie Purcell, a death investigator certified with the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.
I have worked in the coroner/medical examiner systems for over 30 years,
and I bring a deep commitment to helping families understand what happened to their loved ones.

I graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science, where I gained a strong foundation in human anatomy, pathology, and postmortem care. I later completed additional training through various means, including the Masters Program for Advanced Death Investigation at St. Louis University, School of Medicine, Division of Forensic Science, specializing in complex case analysis and toxicology interpretation. I’m also a proud member of the National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME), the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners and the Society of Medicolegal Death Investigators (SOMDI)—organizations that promote excellence, integrity, and continued education in the field of death investigation.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside medical examiners, law enforcement, and countless grieving families. Again and again, I witnessed how difficult it can be to understand the medical and scientific language used in autopsy, toxicology and other investigative reports. That experience inspired me to create Final Insight—a service that bridges the gap between forensic science and human understanding.

Through Final-Insight, I provide clear, compassionate, and easy-to-understand explanations of complex reports for families, attorneys, and insurance professionals. My goal is to bring truth, context, and peace of mind to those seeking answers. At Final-Insight, I believe that knowledge brings peace—and that every family deserves both understanding and closure.
